Often called the land of waterfalls, Lamington straddles the high McPherson Range along the Queensland - New South Wales border. Elebana Falls, on West Canungra Creek, tumbles over a tough band of deep red rhyolite rock.
These falls are by no means the highest in the region but they must surely be one of the most picturesque cascades in the forest.
