Lamington National Park, lying just west of the Gold Coast in southern Queensland, features countless waterfalls amongst its dense ranges of sub-tropical rainforest.
The Coomera Gorge, near the headwaters of the Coomera River, is one of the most spectacular of the many deep ravines.
It has been carved out of the softer rocks by the massive flows during the wet season from both the Coomera and Yarrabilgong Falls which tumble into its dark depths.
