Sentinel of Tasmania's South West, the pinnacle of Federation Peak rises abruptly above the main chain of the Eastern Arthur Range.
This remote mountain remained unclimbed until 1949. Today, it is still considered a challenge, even though roadways intrude deeply into this isolated corner of the island.
